Effective October 17, 2026
These terms apply to your use of Mastering Managed Care, including this website, the Tuesday Edition newsletter, the podcast, and any education products I offer (together, the “Service”), published by Kevin W. Barron (“I,” “me”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Everything here is for general educational purposes. It is not legal, financial, accounting, coding, compliance, or reimbursement advice, and reading it does not create a professional or consulting relationship. Contracts, regulations, and payer policies vary. Talk with qualified advisors before acting on anything you read or hear here.
The views expressed are my own and do not represent the positions of my employer or any organization I’m affiliated with. Examples and stories are drawn from experience and may be composites or altered to protect confidentiality.
The newsletter is free, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Referral rewards are offered at my discretion and may change or end; I may decline rewards earned through fake or self-referred signups.
Prices, what’s included, delivery, and any refund terms are shown on each product’s page at the time of purchase, and those terms are part of this agreement. When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own learning and internal professional work. Please don’t resell, redistribute, or post it publicly. If your organization wants to use a product with a team, email me about group access.
The articles, podcast episodes, guides, glossary, and other materials are my work and are protected by copyright. You’re welcome to share links and quote short excerpts with attribution to Kevin W. Barron, Mastering Managed Care. Republishing full articles or using the content in commercial training requires my written permission.
When you submit a question, comment, or survey response, you give me permission to use it, edited for length or clarity, in the newsletter or podcast. I won’t identify you without your consent. Please don’t send confidential information, protected health information, or contract terms you aren’t free to share.
I link to outside sources I find useful. I’m not responsible for their content or practices.
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. I work to keep information accurate and current, but I can’t guarantee it is complete, error-free, or right for your situation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and my total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid me, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
I may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the latest version, and continued use of the Service means you accept the changes.
